“Lucas is...the man! Lucas was dispatched to us via a Home Depot protection plan for our fridge dying. Service window was set for Tuesday 8a-5p with the expectation that the service provider would call Monday to hopefully tighten the window. Lucas called promptly Monday morning and gave my wife a better target time window with the possibility to be there earlier based on other cancellations.
Lucas arrived and with covered boots (so nice to keep our floors clean) came in the house to check out our fridge. Within minutes he had the issue identified and was on the phone with the parts department. Having experienced many compressor failures associated with our fridge, he was all over it. He requested overnight parts delivery to help ensure we were back up and running ASAP.
The next day, 2 of the 3 required parts arrived and with some simple follow up, we were in the loop on the situation. Unfortunately the third part didn't arrive, so on Thursday Lucas acquired the part himself by picking it up at a store and arrived mid-afternoon to start the repair.
The fridge is back up and running like a champ, and hopefully stays that way for a LONG TIME! Lucas and his team are prompt, professional, kind, skilled, and above all else, there was a sense of genuine concern for getting our fridge back up and running. I never felt like we were just another service call. If Lucas isn't your repair guy, you're wrong.
Hopefully we'll never have to see Lucas again!...but we all know appliances die, or at least try. And if and when that happens, we'll definitely be calling Certified Appliance Care. An absolute 10/10 experience.”
